Market Talk a BBJ-ben: Dr. Nóra Rácz was about the trend of the accounting and tax consultancy market in 2025
Publications – 12.02.2025

BBJ asked Dr. Nóra Rácz, partner at LeitnerLeitner, to outline her expectations for 2025 as one of the most important players in the accounting and tax advisory sector.
What changes can we expect in 2025?
This year, benefits with tax allowance or 0% tax for employees will play a greater role in our tax system once again.
How did the market react to this news?
Although these changes were particularly favorable, employers were taken by surprise and were unable to respond immediately. However, we recommend that they review their current cafeteria systems so that they can reward their employees with low tax benefits. Larger companies may even consider introducing employee share program to reward key managers and employees with incentives beside favorable taxation.
How innovative is Hungary in the taxation and accounting?
Hungary is considered a pioneer in the digitization of administration and taxation, which is changing the work of accountants better and better. But this is actually fortunate, because today this field is growing old, and there is a significant shortage of labor. Automation can help with this by reducing the workload and freeing up more time for more valuable tasks. So AI can be seen as a liberating force in this area. The only question is, if AI takes over the tasks of junior accountants, how can they gain the experience they need to become true advisors? At LeitnerLeitner, we pay special attention to this and have developed personalized training for beginners.
Dr Nóra Rácz, partner and executive director of LeitnerLeitner
Nóra is a committed generalist with a strong problem solving and advisory approach. Client-focused attitude is extremely important for her.
Her special fields include national and international law, the taxation of development subsidies, support for Hungarian subsidiaries of international companies and SMEs, and representation of clients during tax audits. In addition, she has extensive experience in real estate taxation, corporate restructuring issues, family wealth planning and, finally, insurance taxation.
In addition to her tax advisory clients and executive obligations, she is responsible for the accounting and payroll business lines, as well as the recently launched global mobility area, which provides personal income tax and social security advice in an international context.
She thinks that “the only constant is change itself”; therefore, her main aim is to strengthen this ability in her colleagues, for the success of an organisation depends on its ability to adopt faster than its competitors.
Besides her work she considers social responsibility to be important. She is an active member of the advisory board of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK), while from 2024 also a presidency member. She also actively participates in the board of the International Fiscal Association of Hungary (IFA). She regularly represents the firm as a speaker at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and other professional events.
